Lifting and running,
one plan.

Most training apps pick a side. Lifting apps pretend you don't run. Running apps pretend you don't lift. Orka plans both as a single training week — so a hard 10k on Tuesday changes what Wednesday's squat session asks of you.

Coming in 2026 What it does
The idea

One question the single-discipline apps can't answer.

I ran 10k last night — so what should today's squat session become? Answering that needs one app that sees both. That's the whole product.

It programmes the lifting

Tell it your goal, your experience, how many days you can train and what equipment you can reach. It writes the whole block — exercises, sets, rep ranges, intensity — with deload weeks where they belong.

It programmes the running

Easy runs, intervals, long runs — built into the same week, not bolted on. Use the app's GPS, or let it import what your Garmin, Fitbit or Apple Watch already recorded. Both count the same.

It adapts to what you did

Not to what it planned. A fatigue model reads your actual sessions — the runs included — and reshapes the week around them. Miss a session, smash a session, run further than intended: the plan moves.

The free tier

A complete app, not a trial.

If you already know what you want to train, you can build it, log it and track it forever without paying a penny.

Log sets, reps, weight and effort, with your previous numbers pre-filled so logging a set is two taps. Build your own programme properly — days per week, what each session is, which exercises, what rep range — and the app runs it, handling progression and telling you why. Track your runs. See every set you've ever logged. Read and write Apple Health. All of it free.

The line is simple: you design it, or we design it. Paying is for the coaching, not for the basics. Fitbod caps its free tier at three workouts; we think that's a demo, not a tier.

Free forever

  • Log workouts, offline, in a gym basement
  • Build and run your own programme
  • GPS runs and watch imports
  • Full history and personal records
  • Apple Health, both directions
  • Share a session as an image

Paid adds the coaching

  • A programme written for your goal and schedule
  • Lifting and running in one calendar
  • Weekly adaptation from what you actually did
  • The fatigue engine driving both
Why it can cost less

The nearest thing to it charges about $25 a month.

It charges that because a human coach reviews every plan. That's a real service and a fair price for it. Orka is that scope without the human review — which is a different product, honestly cheaper, and the right trade for most people.

We haven't fixed the price yet, and we'd rather say so than print a number we might have to walk back. It will be a fraction of $25, and there'll be no feed, no streak guilt, and no five-step cancellation.

Status

Built. Now being finished properly.

The logger, the free tier, running, sync, the fatigue engine, the AI programme generator, the form library, progress and Health are all built and covered by tests. What's left is the unglamorous part — the name settled, the artwork, the store listing, and a long stretch of real-world use before anyone else relies on it.
